Dear Neighbor,
I'm pleased to share that late this afternoon Broward County issued its latest Emergency Order which now allows more businesses and amenities to open. Beginning Monday, sunbathing will be allowed on the beach and you may bring umbrellas, chairs, coolers and the like with you. Face masks are only required if you cannot maintain six feet of social distance outside your immediate group. In addition, our beach concessions will be open for the rentals of chaise lounges and umbrellas.
At City parks, we will be able to open our recreation centers and we will be able to allow doubles play for tennis, pickle ball and disc golf as well as singles play for racquetball.
Businesses that offer massages and tattooing will be allowed to open as well. Please be responsible so that we are able to move to the next phase of reopening.
Have a safe and great weekend!
